2000 Dialup
Open
the Network and Dial-up window.
Step
1
Click on the Start-Button then select Settings and
Dial-up Connections

Create a New Connection.
Double-click on the Make New Connection icon:

Click the Next button to continue.

Network Connection Type.
Make sure the "Dial-up to the Internet" radio button is
selected
Click on the Next button.
Step

Setting up the Account.
Choose "I want to set up my internet connection manually..."
Click on the Next button

Internet Connection.
Make sure the "I connect through a phone line and modem"
radio button is
selected.
Click on the Next button.
Step

Phone Number.
Enter the Telephone Number to dial: 674-4618 is Fiberpipes
primary number
to use. DO NOT "Use area code and dialing rules". (Unless
where you are dialing from
is a toll-call.)
Click on the Next button.
Step

Username / Password.
Enter your username in the User Name field. (This is the information
you
provided when the account was setup.)
Enter your password in the Password field.
Click on the Next button.

Connection Name.
Type Fiberpipe for the "Connection name:"
Click on the Next button

Internet Mail Account.
You will now be asked if you want to set up a mail account. Click
on the
"No" radio button.
Click on the Next button

Completing the Internet setup.
This is the final window of the setup.
You will be prompted to try the new dial-in immediately; Do not
perform this task
yet. Click on the Finish button.

New dial-up icon.
There is now a new icon for the Fiberpipe dialup in the Network
and Dial-up
Connections window labeled Fiberpipe
